Paul Mugford, Interactive Designer

Paul has developed the reputation in the office as the “go to guy”. Need an E-blast out the door in less than an hour? Paul says, “No problem”. Need someone to eat the other half of your sandwich? Paul says, “No problem”.

With a culmination of skills from certificates in both Business and Information Technology and Multimedia Courseware Design, Paul embarked on his career as a Multimedia Developer/Graphic Designer for the Information Technology Institute in Halifax. He also worked as a Web Developer/Graphic Designer for Robinson Black. ICON lured him back to Cape Breton, where he joined the team as our Interactive Media Designer extraordinaire. He’s been recognized with two international Summit Creative Awards: one for the interactive map on CabotTrail.travel and one for an ICON promotional E-card.

We’re proud to say that Paul recently completed his Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies at Cape Breton University.

After work, Paul can often be found on the ice playing hockey, on the field playing baseball or on the slopes skiing.
